Reading Cloud is an online live reading community that supports literacy in school, encourages independent learning, helping to drive parental engagement and promote reading for pleasure. With features like reading lists, ‘Book of the Week’, star reviews, and featured authors, every Reading Cloud student can engage with their library community and develop a passion for lifelong learning.
For Reading Cloud Premium users, the enhanced interface is also customisable, putting the library experience in your hands. Whether it’s promoting academic and leisure time reading, drawing attention to a particular reading list, or celebrating school-based initiatives like World Book Day or Black History month, the customisable interface allows you to tailor your library homepage to the needs of your school and students.
Reading Cloud is fully optimised across mobile and tablet devices meaning your students and parents can access the platform from home. Reserve books, search the catalogue, write a review, or read eBooks; students can do all of this from wherever they are. By creating easy access to literacy and learning resources, you can promote and further engagement with the library outside of school.
