Existing Reading Cloud login information is used to authenticate users securely enabling easy access to OverDrive eBooks solution for schools, so there's no additional management requirements. Students can also use the award-winning Sora app to access their eBooks.
Our eBooks for schools can be used on PC's, laptops, mobiles and tablets so they're ideal for keeping students interested in reading at the weekend or in the school holidays.
We started using Sora’s digital library across the school during the pandemic as a way to ensure that our pupils had access to books, whether they were in school or home learning.

Primary eBbooks NOW is our curated, shared collection for Primary Schools with content from renowned publishers such as Harper Collins, Bloomsbury, Penguin Random House and Nosy Crow.
The collection includes an incredibly diverse range of over 4,000 titles of which 800 are audiobooks meaning it can be used flexibly to support different topics and areas of the curriculum over the course of the academic year.
Secondary eBooks Collection
There are over 4,000 high quality digital books for schools of which more than 500 are audiobooks in our curated, shared collection for Secondary Schools from renowned publishers such as Harper Collins, Bloomsbury and Penguin Random House.
Award-winning fiction, non-fiction, audio books, GCSE and A level set texts, study guides and text books and a huge variety of text types, genres and topics to engage even the most reluctant students.
For Reading Cloud schools, the updated Reading Cloud app gives your students easy access to OverDrive eBooks solution for schools and other library resources on Apple, iOS or Android devices, 24/7, from wherever they are.
Schools not using Reading Cloud as their library management system can access eBooks via the free Sora app https://soraapp.com.
